Description

3-Bromoethylacetate is a chemical compound that belongs to the class of antidiabetic agents. It is an inhibitor of enzymes in the citric acid cycle, which are involved in the synthesis and degradation of glucose. 3-Bromoethylacetate has been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects and reduce tumor size in cancer studies. In addition, 3-bromoethylacetate has been shown to inhibit epidermal growth factor (EGF) and its receptor, glp-1r, in a molecular docking analysis.
