Description:
2,2'-Bipyridine-5-carboxylic acid (BPY) is a compound that stabilizes the orientation of certain chiral molecules. BPY has been shown to inhibit the activity of hydroxylase enzymes. It has also been shown to have photophysical properties and inorganic chemistry. BPY can be used for the treatment of influenza virus infection and methoxyethyl chloride isomers are used as a catalyst for the production of polyurethane elastomers.
