Description:

1,2-Bis(di-tert-butylphosphinomethyl)benzene is a bidentate ligand that can be used in cross-coupling reactions. It can be used as an additive to increase the reaction rate and promote the formation of a desired product by increasing the concentration of triflic acid. 1,2-Bis(di-tert-butylphosphinomethyl)benzene has been shown to be useful for aminocarbonylation reactions, which have been shown to have an isolated yield of about 90%. The kinetic data for this reaction was obtained using styrene as the substrate.
