Description:
1-Benzhydrylazetidine is a natural product that inhibits the methyltransferase enzyme. It has been shown to have anti-cancer properties and may be useful in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. 1-Benzhydrylazetidine is structurally similar to azetidines, which are known to inhibit bacterial DNA gyrase. 1-Benzhydrylazetidine also binds to the d4 receptor and cb1 receptor, which are proteins found in the central nervous system. The binding of this compound at these receptors inhibits neurotransmitter release, leading to its effects on cancer cells.
