Description

Bis[4,5-(methylenedioxy)-2-propylphenyl]-methane is a synthetic insecticide that has been used in the past as an acaricide. It is a white solid with low solubility in water and decomposes at high temperatures. Bis[4,5-(methylenedioxy)-2-propylphenyl]-methane is not toxic to mammals and birds but is highly toxic to fish and aquatic invertebrates.
