Product Information
1-Butenylboronic acid is a small molecule that inhibits the interaction of benzodiazepine receptors with coactivators. It has been shown to promote transcription and transactivation in vitro and in vivo by mimicking the effects of vitamin B3. 1-Butenylboronic acid also has an inhibitory activity against the benzodiazepine receptor, which is similar to other benzodiazepine derivatives. The compound has been shown to interact with the benzodiazepine receptor and inhibit its ability to bind to its coactivator, which may be due to the presence of an amino group at the 1-position.
