Product Information
- (6R,12aR)-6-(1,3-Benzodioxol-5-yl)-2-butyl-2,3,6,7,12,12a-hexahydropyrazino[1',2':1,6]pyrido[3,4-b]indole-1,4-dione
N-Butyl nortadalafil is a modified version of the drug tadalafil that has been synthesized to improve its water solubility. This modification has also been shown to enhance the potency and selectivity of the drug. In screening experiments, this compound showed an increased affinity for PDE5 and a decreased affinity for PDE6, which may be due to modifications in the chemical configuration. N-Butyl nortadalafil is structurally different from other enhancers and displays higher performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) retention times than tadalafil. It has also been detected by HPLC in dietary supplements marketed as "natural."
