Product Information
4-Bromo-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-C]pyridine is a pyrazole antagonist. It has been used in the treatment of schizophrenia and has shown to be a potential therapeutic agent for Alzheimer's disease. The drug binds to the alpha 1-adrenergic receptor and blocks the binding of epinephrine, leading to a decrease in blood pressure. 4-Bromo-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-C]pyridine also blocks indazole receptors and prevents the release of acetylcholine. This compound has not been tested on humans and is still undergoing clinical trials.
