Description:

Bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene-dichloronickel(II) is a catalyst that is used in cross-coupling reactions. It has been shown to catalyze the coupling of benzene derivatives with acetone, producing a range of different products. Bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene-dichloronickel(II) can also be used for preparative separations and homocoupling reactions. The solid form of Bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene-dichloronickel(II) has been shown to have a high surface area and uniform spacings between the phosphine molecules. This allows for a greater amount of substrate to be adsorbed on the surface, which increases its reactivity.
