Description

Boc-gln-ONp is a synthetic molecule with an inhibitory effect on the production of anorectic hormones. The molecule is made up of two parts, a Boc group and a glutamine derivative. A disulfide bond links the two parts together. The amino acid sequence of Boc-gln-ONp has been determined by NMR spectroscopy, which revealed that it contains dodecyl and sulfoxide groups.
