Description:
Boc-ONb is a reagent used in the synthesis of natural products. It is soluble in water, ethanol, and dimethylsulfoxide, and can be crystallized from tetrahydrofuran. Boc-ONb can be prepared by reacting carbonate with methanol, or by the reaction of amines with dioxane. This compound is stable to heat and light, and is often used as a reagent for organic syntheses.
