Boc-Ser(tBu)-OH NA is a tetrapeptide, cyclic peptide that possesses antigenicity and fluorescence resonance. It can be used as a fluorescent probe to detect the lysines residues on the surface of proteins. Boc-Ser(tBu)-OH NA was synthesized by solid-phase synthesis. This compound has been shown to have antitumor activity in vivo against breast cancer cells and endometriosis models. The anticancer effects of Boc-Ser(tBu)-OH NA may be due to its ability to inhibit the proliferation of tumor cells by binding to their mannose receptors. This compound also inhibits influenza virus replication by blocking the release of virus particles from infected cells.
