Product Information
- (R)-(+)-N-Boc-3-pyrrolidinol
- (R)-1-(tert-Butoxycarbonyl)-3-pyrrolidinol
- (R)-tert-butyl 3-hydroxypyrrolidine-1-carboxylate
N-Boc-3-pyrrolidinol is a derivative of 3-pyrrolidinol that has been shown to inhibit the activity of protein kinase C (PKC) and PKCδ. It also inhibits the activity of DNA methyltransferase and topoisomerase I, which are enzymes involved in the regulation of gene expression. This drug has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of PKCδ and PI3Kδ, with an IC50 value of around 0.5 μM for both enzymes, as well as DNA methyltransferase. This makes N-Boc-3-pyrrolidinol a potential therapeutic agent for autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis or type 1 diabetes mellitus.
