Description

N-Butyl ProPargyl carbamate is an antimicrobial agent that belongs to the group of chemical compounds called alkylphenoxy polyethoxy ethanol. N-Butyl ProPargyl carbamate is used to preserve cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and other consumer products, as well as ingredients in food and beverages. The active ingredient is usually used in combination with other preservatives. N-Butyl ProPargyl carbamate has been shown to work synergistically with benzene and surfactants like sodium lauryl sulfate for the removal of bacteria from water surfaces.
