Description:
1-Benzylpyrazole-4-boronic acid pinacol ester is an additive in supercritical fluid chromatography. It has been shown to have enantioselectivity and achiral properties. The epimerization of 1-benzylpyrazole-4-boronic acid pinacol ester was found to be very sensitive to the elution conditions, with the addition of methanol as an eluent providing excellent separation. The chiral nature of 1-benzylpyrazole-4-boronic acid pinacol ester is also demonstrated by its ability to form benzodiazepine derivatives.
