9,9-Bis(4-amino-3-fluorophenyl)fluorene is a benzonitrile that has an optical band gap of 1.97 eV. It can be polymerized to form polymers with high thermal and optical expansion. 9,9-Bis(4-amino-3-fluorophenyl)fluorene is soluble in organic solvents such as chloroform and acetone. It is used as a monomer in the preparation of polymers with high efficiency and low cost due to its ability to be polymerized under mild conditions.
