Description:

N-alpha-Boc-Nin formyl-L-tryptophan is a peptide that has been synthesized using the Boc protection strategy. It has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of growth factor activity and to inhibit the binding of epidermal growth factor to its receptor, thereby blocking the action of this growth factor on cells. This peptide can be used for the treatment of inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis or eczema. N-alpha-Boc-Nin formyl-L-tryptophan has also been shown to stimulate wound healing in animal models by stimulating keratinocyte proliferation, which may be due to its ability to bind to epidermal growth factor receptors.
