O-tert-Butyl-D-serine is a serine derivative that can be used as a diagnostic marker for Borrelia infections. O-tert-Butyl-D-serine is an intermediate in the synthesis of polypeptides, and it can be found in human cells, where it has been shown to have a variety of biological functions. O-tert-Butyl-D-serine is also involved in the development of autoimmune diseases and symptoms.
