Description

N-alpha-Boc-Nim-benzyl-L-histidine is a fluorescent probe that is used to measure the concentration of β-amyloid in human serum. The compound has been shown to bind to the β-amyloid protein and fluoresce, which can then be detected with a spectrophotometer. N-alpha-Boc-Nim-benzyl-L-histidine has shown promising results as a fluorescent probe for the detection of β amyloid peptide. It has been found to be non toxic in humans and does not cause any adverse effects on biological properties.
