Description:

N-alpha-Boc-Nepsilon-acetyl-L-lysine 7-amido-4-methylcoumarin is a histone H3 lysine acetylation inhibitor. It inhibits HDAC activity and has been shown to be an effective inhibitor of δ opioid receptors. N-alpha-Boc-Nepsilon-acetyl-L-lysine 7 amido 4 methylcoumarin has also been shown to reduce tumor growth in animals and inhibit the production of TNFα in rats with intestinal inflammation. This drug is synthetic, but can be found naturally in fatty acids from animals and humans.
