Description:

Boc-L-beta-HomoAsn-OH is a white to pale yellow powder that is soluble in water and methanol. It is used as a reagent for the synthesis of azides, amines, and yields. The compound can be used to synthesize toluene using trimethylphosphine and azide. Boc-L-beta-HomoAsn-OH reacts with trimethylphosphine and azide to form an unstable intermediate which decomposes into toluene, phosphine gas, nitrogen gas, and hydrogen gas.
