Description

2-Bromo-6-methoxypyridine is an amide with hydrochloric acid. It is used as a synthetic intermediate for the synthesis of various pharmaceuticals, such as benzodiazepines, which are used in the treatment of anxiety disorders. 2-Bromo-6-methoxypyridine has functional groups that allow it to react with other molecules to form covalent bonds.
