Description

4-Benzyloxyindole-2-carboxylic acid is a synthetic intermediate. It can be prepared from the hydrazide by reaction with benzaldehyde and subsequent reduction. The carboxylic acid moiety of 4-benzyloxyindole-2-carboxylic acid reacts with an electron source to form a class of compounds that can be used as synthetic intermediates.
