- 3-Bromopropan-1-Amine Hydrobromide (1:1)
- 3-Bromopropan-1-Amine
3-Bromopropan-1-amine is a basic protein that has inhibitory properties against the enzyme dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPP-IV). 3-Bromopropan-1-amine has been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects in a number of in vitro studies, including inhibiting the production of proinflammatory cytokines and enhancing the production of anti-inflammatory cytokines. 3-Bromopropan-1-amine also inhibits toll like receptor 4 (TLR4) activation by preventing its association with toll/interleukin 1 receptor domain containing adaptor protein 1 (TIRAP). This drug binds to the disulfide bond between cysteine residues in TLR4 and prevents activation of TIRAP. In addition, 3-bromopropan-1 amine may bind to PDL1 and block its function. The physiological function of this drug is not well understood at present.
