Description:

N-Benzylcinchoninium chloride is a synthetic benzyl cinchoninic acid compound that targets the receptor binding site of growth factor-β1. It has been shown to decrease tumor size in prostate cancer and collagen production in skin cells. N-Benzylcinchoninium chloride is also an effective treatment for liver cancer, as it inhibits the synthesis of DNA and RNA. This agent is not active against water vapor or chlorine gas, which are used to destroy bacteria and other microorganisms. N-Benzylcinchoninium chloride is a potent inhibitor of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) activity, which has been shown to inhibit the synthesis of DNA and RNA.
