Description

(S,S)-1,2-Bis[(2-methoxyphenyl)phenylphosphino]ethane is a palladium complex that has been used to synthesize dimethyl fumarate. This molecule is a ligand and has been shown to have a crystallographic symmetry of mononuclear. The phosphine group in the molecule can be chiral, depending on the configuration of the carbon atoms bonded to it. (S,S)-1,2-Bis[(2-methoxyphenyl)phenylphosphino]ethane is also useful as a stabilizer for diffraction experiments.
