The fluorescence emission spectrum of Bis(2,4,6-trimethylpyridine)bromonium Hexafluorophosphate has a maximum at 568 nm and a minimum at 590 nm. Bis(2,4,6-trimethylpyridine)bromonium Hexafluorophosphate can be used as a reagent for the preparation of dimers. It can also be recrystallized from methylene chloride to give white crystals with a melting point of 104°C.
