Product Information
- Biphenyl-2,2'-Diylbis(Diphenylphosphane)
2,2'-Bis(diphenylphosphino)biphenyl (BDPP) is a chelate ligand that has been shown to form a hydrogen bond with the amino acid β-alanine in an acylation reaction. The resulting enantiopure molecule has been shown to be useful as a chiral stationary phase for gas chromatography and magnetic resonance spectroscopy. The compound also has transport properties and can be used as a chelate ligand. BDPP is often used in linear regression analysis, especially when the dependent variable is body mass index. It is also used in logistic regression analysis, where the dependent variable is the probability of survival from myocardial infarction.
