Description:
1-(tert-Butyldimethylsilyl)imidazole (TBDMSI) is a chemical compound that can be used for the repositioning of drugs. TBDMSI has been shown to induce apoptosis in breast cancer cells by inhibiting the synthesis of epoxyeicosatrienoic acids and growth factors such as epidermal growth factor and high values. It also decreases blood pressure and body mass index, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the production of fatty acid. TBDMSI has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, as well as cardioprotective effects.
