Description:

1,3-Bis(4-methoxyphenyl)urea is a crystalline compound with a molecular formula of C16H12N2O4. It has an anisotropic orientation and is crystalline with domains that are oriented in two dimensions. 1,3-Bis(4-methoxyphenyl)urea has been shown to have functions as a chiral ligand in the manufacture of liquid crystals and as a phase transfer catalyst.
