Description:
1-(4-Bromophenyl)naphthalene is a naphthalene that can be used as a catalyst for the annulation of arylalkynes. The transformation is catalyzed by palladium(0) and copper(I) chloride in the presence of an alkoxide. 1-(4-Bromophenyl)naphthalene is also able to produce an annulated product from an alkyne, which can be useful for the synthesis of natural products.
