Description

Bis(3-ethyl-5-methyl-4-maleimidophenyl)methane is a monomer that is used in the production of epoxy resins. It has a molecular weight of 146.22 and can be found at temperatures from -70 to 120 degrees Celsius. This compound undergoes a transition from an amorphous state to a crystalline state when heated. Bis(3-ethyl-5-methyl-4-maleimidophenyl)methane also has thermal stability up to 150 degrees Celsius and does not react with cyclohexanone, sulfoxide, or pyridine. It reacts with n-methylpyrrolidone and other polar solvents.
