Description

1,3-Bis(aminomethyl)cyclohexane (1,3-BCCH) is a chemical substance that is classified as an aromatic hydrocarbon. It is a colorless liquid with a sweet odor. 1,3-BCCH has been shown to be an effective corrosion inhibitor and cross-linking agent, which may be due to its ability to react with lysine residues. It may also serve as an activator of the polymerization process in the manufacture of polyurethane foams.
