4-Bromobenzyl amine HCl is a synthetic compound that has been shown to inhibit tumor cell growth in vitro. It inhibits tumor cell proliferation by inducing apoptosis and inhibiting tumor cell growth. 4-Bromobenzyl amine HCl also inhibits protozoan parasites such as Toxoplasma gondii and Plasmodium falciparum, which are responsible for diseases such as toxoplasmosis and malaria, respectively. This compound can be used in the future as an adjuvant therapy for cancer patients who have undergone surgery or radiation treatment to reduce the risk of recurrence. The synthesis of 4-Bromobenzyl amine HCl involves acylation of primary amines with 4-bromobenzaldehyde followed by hydrolysis with hydrochloric acid. This synthesis is carried out in a reaction system containing protic solvents such as water or ethanol. The final product obtained after filtration is purified
