Description:
Buddlejasaponin IV is a sesquiterpene lactone that inhibits the growth of cancer cells. It has been shown to inhibit the mitochondrial membrane potential and induce apoptosis in cancer cells. Buddlejasaponin IV also reduces inflammation by inhibiting cytokine production and activation of NF-κB, which are molecules involved in inflammatory responses. This drug has been shown to have significant cytotoxicity against test samples at pharmaceutical dosage levels and has antiinflammatory properties.
