Product Information
Bis(pentafluorophenyl) oxalate is a linker molecule that is used in the synthesis of polymers. It has been used to synthesize polymers with high ultraviolet absorption, polymer conjugates, and high molecular weight copolymers. Bis(pentafluorophenyl) oxalate has also been shown to have proton-donating properties and can be used as a linker for pyrimidine nucleosides. This compound is soluble in organic solvents and can be synthesized at high concentrations. The bis(pentafluorophenyl) oxalate functional theory is based on the electron rich aromatic hydrocarbon being linked to the electron poor carboxylic acid by a polar bond.
