Description

Butyl trifluoromethanesulfonate is an immunoregulatory agent that has been shown to have insulin-sensitizing and anti-inflammatory properties. It has been reported to cause a significant reduction in the concentration of glucose in the blood, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the synthesis of cholesterol esters. Butyl trifluoromethanesulfonate is also used as a solvent in detergent compositions, and as a reagent for synthesizing quinoline derivatives.
