Description

6-Bromo-1h-pyrrolo[3,2-b]pyridine is a semiconducting material with an n-type conductivity. It has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on electron transport and arylation reactions. 6-Bromo-1h-pyrrolo[3,2-b]pyridine has been used as a matrix for MALDI TOF analysis and laser desorption ionization mass spectrometry. This compound can be used in the development of novel transistors that are resistant to electron migration and can also be used in coordination chemistry with metal ions. 6-Bromo-1h-pyrrolo[3,2-b]pyridine is also a potential candidate for use in laser desorption mass spectroscopy.
