Product Information

Name:
Boc-Alanine Pentafluorophenyl Ester
Description:

Boc-Alanine Pentafluorophenyl Ester is a reactive chromophore that can be used as a fluorescent probe for the detection of glutamic acid residues. It is produced by reacting pentafluorophenyl ester with boc-alanine in the presence of tripeptides, expressed human erythrocytes, kinetic data and kinetic constants. The reaction rate is dependent on the concentration of pentafluorophenyl ester and tripeptides. Boc-Alanine Pentafluorophenyl Ester has a nucleophilic character and reacts with leucinamide to form an adduct that has been shown to be stable at room temperature. This product is also used as a fluorescent probe for the detection of glutamic acid residues in proteins and polypeptides.
