Product Information
4-Bromo-2-fluorophenylacetic acid is a halophenol that can be synthesized by the reaction of 4-iodophenol with bromine and acetic acid. The substrate concentration affects the yield of the product, 4-bromo-2-fluorophenylacetic acid. When the substrate concentration is low, the yield of 4-bromo-2-fluorophenylacetic acid increases. As the substrate concentration increases, so does the production of hydrogen peroxide and 4-bromo-2-fluorophenylacetic acid. The rate of conversion decreases as substrate concentration increases due to increased competition for substrates.
