Bis(3,3,3-trifluoropropyl)dichlorosilane (BTFPDCS) is a cyclic silane that is used as an additive for elastomeric polymers. It has a viscosity of up to 1000 cP at room temperature and can be used to produce high-viscosity polymers and monomers that are resistant to degradation by strong acids or bases. BTFPDCS also has the ability to polymerize with other compounds to form crosslinked networks.
