Description:
1-(1H-Benzotriazol-1-Yl)-2,2,2-Trifluoroethanone is a synthetic aminophenol that has been shown to have anticancer activity. This compound is an effective inhibitor of the synthesis of DNA and RNA in cancer cells. 1-(1H-Benzotriazol-1-Yl)-2,2,2-Trifluoroethanone also inhibits the proliferation of cancer cells by interfering with their ability to replicate. It is not active against noncancerous cells and does not interfere with the formation of acetals.
