2-Bromo-2-(Difluoromethoxy)-1,1,1-Trifluoroethane is a non-polar organic compound that has been shown to have anticancer activity in cell cultures. It has been shown to be an inhibitor of the proteolytic activity of the enzyme trypsin and its inhibition of signal transduction. 2-Bromo-2-(Difluoromethoxy)-1,1,1-Trifluoroethane has also been shown to inhibit the growth of human cancer cells in culture.
