Description:
4,6-Bis(2,2,2-Trifluoroethoxy)-1,3,5-Triazin-2-Amine is a fluorescent dye that is used in solar cells. It has been shown to be an excellent electron acceptor and has a high absorption coefficient for visible light. The compound is soluble in alcohols and other organic solvents and can be polymerized with polyethylene glycol or glycol. It has been used as an additive in the manufacture of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) to increase its optical transparency.
