Description

3,5-Bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl diphenylphosphine oxide is a macrocyclic inhibitor of serine protease. It inhibits the activity of serine proteases such as chymotrypsin and trypsin. 3,5-Bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl diphenylphosphine oxide has also been shown to inhibit autophagy in cancer cells. This drug can be used to treat skin conditions caused by bacterial infection. It has a strong binding affinity for nitrogen atoms and an acidic pH. The structure of this drug was determined using X-ray diffraction analysis and NMR spectroscopy on cell cultures.
