Description:
10,10-Bis[(2-Fluoro-4-Pyridinyl)Methyl]-9(10H)-Anthracenone is a crystalline polymorph that is used in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. This drug has been shown to have an enhancement effect on choline and acetylcholine levels in rat brain tissue, which may be due to its inhibition of ion channels and neurotransmitters. 10,10-Bis[(2-Fluoro-4-Pyridinyl)Methyl]-9(10H)-Anthracenone has also been shown to increase cognitive function in rats by facilitating the release of acetylcholine from nerve cells in the brain.
