Description

N-[Bis(1-Aziridinyl)Phosphinyl]-3-(Trifluoromethyl)Benzamide is a regulatory agent that acts as a competitive inhibitor of the enzyme phosphatase. It has been shown to be effective in the treatment of diabetic patients and was found to regulate markers for insulin resistance. In a model system, N-[Bis(1-Aziridinyl)Phosphinyl]-3-(Trifluoromethyl)Benzamide was shown to inhibit the growth of Saccharomyces cerevisiae cells. This drug is also able to bind to DNA sequences and may also have potential as an anti-inflammatory agent.
