6-Bromo-N-[3-chloro-4-[(3-fluorophenyl)methoxy]phenyl]quinazolin-4-amine is a bifunctional drug that has been shown to be an active drug for the treatment of breast cancer. 6-Bromo-N-[3-chloro-4-[(3-fluorophenyl)methoxy]phenyl]quinazolin-4-amine can be synthesized by catalytic arylation of 3,5,6,7,8,8a,9,10 octahydroquinazolino[2,1b][2]benzothiazole with 2-(trimethylsilyl)ethanol and 4-(trimethylsilyl)phenol in the presence of palladium. The compound has also been shown to have antiinflammatory properties due to its ability to inhibit the production of inflammatory cytokines.
