Description

2-Chloro-3-hydroxypropionic acid methyl ester is a synthetic polymer with properties similar to natural rubber. It can be used for the production of textile backing, paper, and plastics. The polymerized form of the chemical has been shown to have a number of architectural structures that can be transferred onto other surfaces. This chemical is also known as an ammonium persulfate copolymer that is produced by polymerizing 2-chloro-3-hydroxypropionic acid in the presence of ammonium persulfate.
