Description:

4-Chloro-7-(trifluoromethyl)quinoline is a heterocyclic compound that can be used as an anticancer drug. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells by disrupting their DNA and RNA synthesis, leading to cell death. 4-Chloro-7-(trifluoromethyl)quinoline has also been shown to bind to RNA polymerase II, which is important for cellular proliferation. This compound also inhibits the production of proteins by splicing proteins in mammalian cells. The safety profile of this drug has been evaluated in vivo and in vitro, with no adverse effects observed at doses up to 100mg/kg.
